Leadership Team
What is the WTMA Leadership team?
The WTMA Leadership Team is a program available to any students, ages 12 & up, who want to improve their Tae Kwon Do skills or would one day like to become a Tae Kwon Do instructor. Leadership Team training will enable each student to learn the skills needed to teach Tae Kwon Do, as well as improve their own Tae Kwon Do skills. Not only will this training build self-confidence, but it will also further enhance the discipline and respect they have already learned through their current Tae Kwon Do training.
What is required for Leadership team?
All members of the Leadership Team are required to attend leadership classes. This class is an essential part of the WTMA Leadership Team training. It is during these classes that the students will learn the different techniques and teaching methods that will help them throughout their instructor’s training. It will also be mandatory for members of the Leadership Team to attend and help at least three Tae Kwon Do classes a week(belts below their current belt). This enables each member to better understand the responsibilities of a Tae Kwon Do instructor. It also allows him or her to gain more self-confidence while strengthening their Tae Kwon Do training. Each Leadership Team member must submit a schedule of the classes they will be able to participate in sometime during their first week of training.
